FAQ
What owners ask us.
Does my downstate Illinois property qualify?
The Ameren Illinois program covers multifamily properties it serves, and utility programs typically cover buildings with three or more units. ONPEAK works with properties of 50 units or more. Send the address and we will confirm.
Is there really no capital cost?
The assessment is free, and the program funds low-cost and no-cost measures where a property is eligible. Larger projects such as air sealing and insulation earn incentives that reduce your cost. Your scan shows which measures apply to each property.
Do income-qualified properties receive more?
Yes. The program has an income-qualified track with additional support. Tell us about the residents and we will check which track applies.
Which savings reach the owner?
Water, sewer, central hot water and common areas usually reach the owner. In-unit electricity usually reaches residents. Our report separates the two.
How is this different from the Chicago area program?
Ameren Illinois and ComEd run separate programs with their own offers and rules. If you own properties in both territories, we handle both and report them together.
