Stanford Place is located in the Hampden South neighborhood, CO, Denver. The Class A Office building was completed in 1981 and features a total of 273,485 sq.ft.
ONPEAK Energy is a Florida-based company that worked with Stanford Place to evaluate, install, and finance investments in energy-saving equipment. ONPEAK improves property cash flow by reducing energy and operational costs with risk-free building upgrades and no upfront cost.
Stanford Place was looking for options to improve energy efficiency and increase comfort for its tenants. In response, ONPEAK Energy designed a strategy to implement changes to major energy using systems at Stanford place that would reduce greenhouse gas emissions and simultaneously improve comfort.
ONPEAK Energy proposed an LED retrofit to office spaces in the building. The upgrade was designed to drastically lower energy consumption compared to traditional and fluorescent lighting – resulting in as much as an 69% reduction in lighting energy consumption over a year.
Using information gathered through an assessment of the property, input from staff, and interviews with management ONPEAK worked with its pool of providers to come up with solutions that met both operational and technical requirements. To increase savings, ONPEAK designed a comprehensive LED lighting retrofit for Stanford Place’s indoor office spaces matching the look and appeal of the common areas of the building.
A total of 2000 LED fixtures were furnished which improved the light levels in the building spaces and reduced usage consumption. LED lights are longer lasting and achieve $69,927 in savings per year with a projected decrease in kWh usage by 69%. By providing this turnkey solution, Stanford Place has better quality lights, achieves significant electricity savings, and provides a better tenant experience.
