Select Medical is a publicly traded company NYSE:SEM and is one of the largest provider of post-acute care in the US. Select Medical has operations in 47 states and the District of Columbia.

The Opportunity

Looking to update part of their outdated lighting system, the West Gables Rehabilitation Hospital turned to ONPEAK Energy to design a tailor-made solution that follows lighting requirements while achieving savings in maintenance and electricity.

The Proposal

After understanding the condition of the property and the needs of the West Gable Rehabilitation Hospital, ONPEAK proposed an upgrade to their lighting in critical areas. These areas included hallways, administrative offices, and stairways. This upgrade involved replacing the old 2×4 troffer with 4ft fluorescents T8 tubes with new and efficient LED panels.

The Solution

ONPEAK upgraded the hallways and administrative offices with an elegant and efficient LED panel that provides 5,062 lumens and consumes only 47W. The stairways were retrofitted with LED tubes.

The Outcome

ONPEAK’s turn-key solution significantly improved the hospital’s light levels, allowing them to focus their efforts on core business and avoid spending time and money purchasing and replacing light bulbs. They can expect a full return on investment in two years, with significant energy and maintenance generated savings.
